Market-based valuation, not a certified appraisal
Assay reports are market-based valuations drawn from blended external sources. They are not USPAP appraisals on their own. The report's signatory page is designed for a credentialed appraiser (ISA, AAA, ASA) to countersign if you need USPAP-grade documentation for insurance, probate or customs purposes.

What exactly do I get for £14.99?
A branded PDF valuation report for the single item you submit. It includes the cover, headline valuation with confidence band, source-by-source breakdown, comparable sales table, methodology notes, watermark, and an assessor signatory page. Delivered by email and saved to the account we auto-create against your checkout email.
Is this an insurance appraisal?
Not on its own. The report is a market-based valuation. The signatory page is there so a credentialed ISA / AAA / ASA appraiser can countersign and turn it into USPAP-compliant documentation for insurance scheduling, probate or customs. We can suggest credentialed appraisers on request.
How does payment work?
We use Stripe Checkout. Your card statement will show
ASSAY VALUATION. We never see your full card details — Stripe processes them directly. Refunds are handled by us via Stripe if a report fails to deliver or contains an obvious data error attributable to us.What about UK VAT?
Prices are quoted in pounds sterling by default; non-UK buyers see local currency at checkout (USD, EUR, CAD, AUD or JPY). As a UK sole trader operating below the £90,000 VAT-registration threshold, no UK VAT is currently charged. We will register and add VAT to invoices once we cross that threshold, with notice to existing customers.
Can I cancel after I pay?
The report is a digital good and delivery starts immediately on payment. At checkout you tick a box confirming this and waiving the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 reg. 37 14-day cooling-off right. If the report fails to deliver, contains an obvious data error attributable to us, or we agree at our discretion that a refund is fair, we will refund in full — email [email protected] within 30 days of purchase.
When is the iOS app available?
In development. The website and report are live today; the app — and the subscription tiers above — will follow. Buy a report now and the email you check out with becomes your account, ready for the app on day one.
